7milowy: first SAP implementations in the clothing industry

SAP Retail Fashion Loop, a pioneer solution on an international scale, used for managing a clothing company, is to be implemented in Poland for the first time. It has been chosen by two companies, owners of two well-known brands of clothes and shoes for young people. The projects are being carried out by 7milowy sp. z o.o. from BCC group, in cooperation with consultants from global SAP headquarters.
SAP Retail Fashion Loop solution, created in Germany, will be used by Polish enterprises for the first time. It is a completely new SAP offer launched into world markets, created especially for clothing industry.
– ’Polish clothing enterprises have long been waiting for a dedicated IT tool that would minimize the risk related to their operations’, says Krzysztof Justynowicz, Commercial Director in 7milowy sp. z o.o. ‘The dynamics of changes in this sector is so high that a specialist IT system is an absolute necessity’.
SAP Retail Fashion Loop solution includes a number of functionalities specific only for clothing industry, such as price and promotion managing mechanism that would take into account the product’s life cycle, a tool that ensures continual availability of appropriate quantity of basic goods (‘Never Out of Stock’), or a central tool for preparing a proper range of products on the level of a particular store/outlet in a given period of time or season.
Besides functionalities typical of the industry, the implementation in both companies is going to cover finance, controlling, material management, sales and distribution. Moreover, one of the companies is going to use the modules: HR management, high-storage warehouse management and pre-configured SAP Sales Express package for managing customer relationships (mySAP CRM). Along with the implementation contract the companies have concluded a SAP maintenance contract with BCC. The enterprises are to start working with the new system next January.
Two new implementations are an important step towards creating by 7milowy company a comprehensive solution for the clothing industry.
