ABB in Poland will improve human resources management thanks to employee self-service solutions

Since September BCC has been developing the SAP HCM (SAP HR) system with ESS (Employee Self-Service) solutions which will improve the quality of personnel data handling for about 2,000 employees of the ABB concern in Poland.

ABB employees will gain access, through a Web browser, to their payroll data (pay slips), work time, and holidays. During the second phase of the project, scheduled for the first quarter of 2008, the functions of MSS (Manager Self-Service) will be implemented. Thanks to them managers will obtain a useful tool to plan, approve, control and settle their subordinates’ holidays.

More and more of our clients appreciate this and they commission BCC the preparation of ESS and MSS solutions in their SAP systems. The time and energy that HR specialists devoted to handling repetitive requests may now be focused on more ambitious objectives, for example supporting employees’ long-term development’, adds Marcin Kraska, project manager for BCC.
