BCC implements SAP ERP in Russian and Belarusian company of Decora SA

The leading producer of decorating products and interior finishes continues to expand its presence on the East European markets by implementing SAP system. BCC is Decora’s partner in SAP project encompassing Decora RU, distributing company based in Moscow, and manufacturing plant IP Decora East in Vitebsk (Belarus).
The project, initiated in January 2010, includes conveying and adjusting Decora’s SAP core to local legal standards in the functional scope. In the Russian and Belarusian company SAP ERP system will be employed to support such areas as finance management, controlling, materials management, sales and distribution – and in the case of the plant in Vitebsk – also production planning. According to the plans, Russian users will start using SAP system in April 2010 and the users in the plant in Vitebsk – in July 2010.
- The SAP system is an important tool supporting company management and growth on the global scale. Therefore it is natural that we support this growth by implementing the system in Decora foreign companies. Currently SAP supports (apart from the Polish headquarters) companies in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Lithuania, Hungary and the Ukraine - says Artur Hibner, member of the board in Decora SA.
Belarusian and Russian Project is the next stage of the cooperation between Decora and BCC Group. Implementing SAP in Decora SA and SAP roll-outs in the foreign companies were supported by BCC and 7milowy (member of the BCC Group). BCC is Decora’s partner in SAP development project (in the scope of Warehouse Management and Business Intelligence). Decora also takes advantage of the BCC Outsourcing Center which provides SAP administration services and remote support for the users (of SAP application service).
- We have appointed BCC to execute the SAP project in Russia and Belarus not only because of our successful cooperation experience with the company. One of the key factors was also BCC’s experience in performing SAP implementations in the international environment – says Jarosław Gierz, IT Manager in Decora.
