Migration and administration of SAP systems for ICN Polfa Rzeszów (Valeant Group)

The leading producer of pharmaceutical products performed – with support of BCC – the separation of SAP systems from the central installation in the USA. The SAP ERP, SAP Business Intelligence and SAP GRC solutions are used by over 300 employees of ICN Polfa Rzeszów. The company takes also advantage of the remote SAP administration in BCC Outsourcing Center.
The goal of the project, which was started in September 2009, was the separation of the local SAP installation from the corporate SAP systems, maintained in the American headquarters of Valeant Pharmaceuticals. The migration project, which was executed by BCC, referred to 3 systems – SAP ERP, SAP Business Intelligence and SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance).
The result of this undertaking was a complex SAP environment supporting the business activity of ICN Polfa Rzeszów, which has been used by over 300 employees since the middle of February.
ICN Polfa Rzeszów has also decided to cooperate with BCC Outsourcing Center. Since the end of February, BCC has been performing the remote administration of SAP ERP, SAP BI and SAP GRC systems in ICN Polfa Rzeszów.
ICN Polfa Rzeszów is another BCC customer from the pharmaceutical sector. The companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, ACP Pharma, Gerresheimer, AstraZeneca Pharma, Sanofi-Aventis have already taken advantage of BCC services in the scope of SAP implementations, development and outsourcing.
