Onet.pl is implementing SAP with BCC

The biggest Polish Internet portal will take advantage of SAP ERP and SAP Business Intelligence solutions. BCC is Onet partner for the implementation of these systems.
The project, which is being performed by BCC, is divided into two stages. During the first stage, which has been started in July, this year, BCC is implementing SAP ERP system in the scope of finance, controlling, materials management and sales. BCC consultants will prepare also the SAP PI integration environment and will integrate SAP software among others with billing applications. The employees of Onet.pl will start using SAP in January, at the beginning of next year.
As part of the second stage, BCC will implement the new solutions of SAP Business Intelligence. Apart from the tools of SAP BusinessObjects, which have been used by the Onet.pl employees for two years, the reporting processes will be supported by SAP BW warehouse. The start of usage of new SAP Business Intelligence tools is planned for the mid of the year 2011. In total, about 40 employees of Onet.pl will use SAP ERP and SAP BI.
SAP implementation for Onet.pl is another undertaking of BCC in media sector. BCC has performed SAP implementations and provides outsourcing services among others for Media Regionalne, the leading Polish press group and for Wolters Kluwer Polska – the biggest publisher of legal and business publications on the Polish market. At the moment, BCC is executing the implementation of SAP ERP in TVN.
