SAP outsourcing for King Oscar in Norway and Poland

Since November 2011, the SAP system belonging to a known canned seafood producer has been maintained and administrated in the BCC Outsourcing Center. Moreover, BCC supports remotely the Polish and Norwegian SAP users under a SAP application support agreement.
King Oscar AS decided to enter into a comprehensive outsourcing contract for SAP hosting, SAP administration and SAP application support with BCC. Following a migration carried out by BCC – a transfer of the SAP system to the BCC data center – BCC’s experts are responsible for system administration. BCC also provides hosting and administration of the IT system that supports the flow of orders.
Users at King Oscar’s headquarters in Bergen, Norway, and at the production facility in Gniewino, Poland, work on the SAP system that is maintained in the data center in Złotniki near Poznań. The BCC Outsourcing Center supports them remotely in a wide range of SAP functionalities. The contract for SAP application support includes financial accounting and controlling, materials and warehouse management, production planning and quality management, sales and distribution as well as HR and payroll.

The BCC Outsourcing Center provides comprehensive IT environment maintenance, from hosting and collocations, to system administration, to application support – SAP users support. The Center handles over 100 SLA agreements in relation to different IT systems, including SAP. BCC’s standards of work that come from, among others, the IT Service Management System conforming to the ISO 20000 and ITIL standard and the Information Security Management System conforming to the ISO 27001 standard, constitute the backbone of the Outsourcing Center’s quality of services, on top of the team’s experience and technical infrastructure.
