TÜV NORD audit: An integrated BCC management system is a benchmark for the B2B service suppliers

October 6-7, 2009 – TÜV NORD Polska, the certifying body, conducted an audit of the quality, information security and IT service management systems operated in BCC. The audit confirms that the integrated management system complies with the standard requirements: ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 20000-1.
“The integrated management system in BCC is an example of a perfect model of managing the quality of the services offered, as well as the care for the security of the information and systems entrusted by the customers. The usage of the international ISO standards enables the BCC company to maintain the leadership among the SAP service suppliers. During the audit I became convinced that beside the qualified personnel and modern technology the key for a company to be successful is the ability to translate the requirements enclosed in the ISO standards into the procedures, mechanisms and instructions focused on the customer service according to the customer expectations and in line with the best practices in this scope – said Robert Wójcik, the leading auditor in TÜV NORD Polska.
TÜV NORD audit results in the successive certification of the meeting the requirements of the integrated BCC management system in accordance to the ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 20000 standards.
BCC was the first consulting company in Poland awarded with the ISO 9001 standard (in 1998). BCC certified in 2007 the information security management system, functioning in the BCC outsourcing centre, for the compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. As the first IT service supplier, BCC was awarded in 2008 with the ISO/IEC 20000-1 certificate that confirms the compliance of managing the IT services, provided by the BCC outsourcing centre, with a code of the best practices described in the ITIL library v3.
