Wavin, a leading European supplier of piping systems, based in the Netherlands, is creating a new, more flexible reporting platform based on SAP BusinessObjects BI tools. The implementation partner in this project is BCC.
The main objective of the project is to increase the development capacities of reporting. With SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence and SAP BusinessObjects Analysis for OLAP tools used as a basis for the solution, business users will be able to adjust and expand available reports, as well as to create new ones themselves. The new platform will be a comprehensive solution – it will handle finance and controlling, purchasing, planning and production as well as sales area. According to the plans, in August this year, the employees of Wavin's European companies will be provided with nearly 200 reports from these areas.
